Trimble is a technology company dedicated to delivering solutions that enable customers to work in innovative ways. The Hardware Product Management Intern will gain hands-on experience, working closely with developers and engineers to help meet customer needs and drive product development.
Responsibilities
Become deeply familiar with hardware product requirement development that meet external Trimble customer needs and reflect the voice of the customer
Work with developers to ensure new features are created according to market requirements
Be able to generate ideas and value on your own or in a group. Establish, then utilize working relationships with engineers, architects, and design
Prototype and create proofs of concept as required; leverage your team in this effort to come up with solution proposals iteratively
Work with development teams on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skills
Learn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a team
Manage product lifecycle through advanced release/beta program for the new phase of the solution and collect user feedback and use to shape the product
Complete user testing and survey to ensure products meet customer requirements
Conduct market research and competitive analysis through analyzing data
Develop strategy and roadmap development for product lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, strategic marketing, and engineering
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Google Workspace; Microsoft Office Suite knowledge a plus
Ability to empathize and understand the needs of customers and teams
