Vontier is a global company focused on transportation and mobility, and they are seeking an Intern for Global Product Management. The role involves supporting the Global Product Manager in refining the global dispenser platform Connectivity strategy, developing product roadmaps, and managing product life cycle processes.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the Global Product Manager to support refinement of global dispenser platform Connectivity strategy, related product roadmaps, and release plans to deliver ROI
Enable share gain and adjacent market growth by supporting the global dispenser Connectivity strategy through roadmap evolution and launch planning
Support definition of target customer segments, Connectivity offering positioning vs competition, and clear product/solution requirements
Identify customer pain points/problems to solve and outline a clear value proposition for the target customer
Contribute to development of robust business cases in partnership with commercial teams to ensure favorable financial returns from Connectivity-related initiatives
Support sustainment of Product Life Cycle processes to drive improvements across product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management
Manage aspects of Inline Product Management, such as technical support escalation, pricing, SKU rationalization, etc.

Required

Demonstrated ability to solve both tactical and strategic programs in a high cadence environment
Interest in Agile Product Development
B.A./B.S. Student in Engineering, Business, or related field
Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems both strategically and tactically
Strong teaming capabilities with the ability to operate independently and receive constructive input from multiple sources
Ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze and understand complex information quickly
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
