Johnson & Johnson develops medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods. They are seeking an intern to join their Product Management and Strategic Marketing team, where the individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to assist in the development and execution of product strategies and support successful new product launches.
Responsibilities
Generate actionable insights on customer needs and market trends from a variety of data sources
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings, providing insights to guide product development and commercial teams
Assist in the creation of product roadmaps and help prioritize features based on gained market and customer insights
Assist Product Managers to gather and analyze user feedback to drive product improvements and ensure user satisfaction
Collaborate with cross functional teams to participate in product development cycles, including spring planning, status meetings, and ensure that development stays on track.
Assist Product Managers with product launch planning and readiness activities.
Qualification
Required
Student pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, or healthcare-oriented business degree.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
Passion for technology and product development
Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach
Basic understanding of product development, clinical use environments, and/or strategic marketing principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic knowledge of data analysis and metrics to evaluate market research.
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
