Ergodyne is a public safety company that offers safety glasses, knee pads, and head protection gears. They are seeking a Product Management Intern to support the Product Management team with product development and category management initiatives, including market research and competitive analysis. The intern will collaborate with Operations and Sales teams and assist in various product-related projects.
Responsibilities
Assist Product Manager with product development efforts including
New product launch materials such as proofreading text, labels, packaging, product and packaging measurements, etc.
Maintain knowledge, data and files of key competitors, monitoring trend activity and assist where needed in competitive cross documents
Help to ensure internal and external information of products is accurate and up-to-date (i.e. Website landing pages, user-instructions, DOC’s, Certifications)
Assist in creating technical files/DOC/User Instructions where needed
Support product training and presentations delivered by the Product Managers by assisting in setup and tear down, organizing samples, and helping with demonstrations.
Work on assigned project supporting Product Management initiatives and present summary and findings to Product leadership team.
Be a sponge. Learn our categories, learn the safety business, learn about distribution, learn about go to market strategies, how to work with a cross-functional team
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
In pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
Proficiency using Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Can communicate effectively
Is organized for productivity and efficiency, yet flexes to anticipate and meet the needs of others
Makes thoughtful, creative, and timely decisions after analyzing situations
Stays current. Demonstrates a passion for learning with reading, research, and networking
