The internship aims to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of various functions within the organization, while also offering opportunities for professional development and exposure to key IT projects.
Responsibilities
Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
Increase technology knowledge and skills
Develop team-based work proficiencies
Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities
Gain knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes; learn to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations
Projects will be assigned based on business need matched with candidate skills and interest
Execute technical deliverables as defined in each summer project plan
Support key IT Projects from various perspectives throughout the summer
Visibility and interaction with senior Information Technology leaders
Play an active role in the Zebra Internship Program activities (summer outings, community service events, zChats with Senior Leadership)
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program (MBA/MS) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related major
Must have an anticipated graduation date between Dec 2025-May 2026 (if pursuing undergrad) or Dec 2025 - May 2027 (if pursuing masters)
Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
Ability to collaborate as part of a team
Effective verbal and written communication skills
