Herc Rentals is an equipment-rental firm that provides tools, services, and solutions. They are looking for IT Interns who will work with technical and non-technical teams, assisting with data generation and curation for A.I. development initiatives while supporting software development tasks.
Responsibilities
Working with our digital product and development team
Assist with data generation and curation in support of strategic A.I. development initiatives
Work closely with teams to solve problems and improve processes
Analytical mindset and ability to see the big picture and influence others
Effective communication skills with ability to give impactful feedback to colleagues
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Should be a proactive and quick learner.
Help with day to day support activities
Assist the team as needed to gather requirements for various software development initiatives
Potential based on performance to assist and support A.I. POC in transportation and additional areas
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Computer Science/MIS/IS major bachelors or masters level
Should be a minimum of Junior level
Applicants must be located within commutable distance to the Bonita Springs, FL HQ to allow for work while attending school
Able to commit to work a minimum 20 hours per week
MS Office, Proficiency or familiarity with programming concepts
