Howmet Aerospace is a global leader in engineered metal products, seeking a highly motivated and energetic student for the Information Technology Summer Intern position. The role involves supporting the information services group with various phases of IT solutions development.
Responsibilities
Support the information services group with one or multiple phases of the information services methodology including analysis, design, development, testing, and support of new information technology solutions.
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred
Currently enrolled in an Information Management, Computer Science, or Business Management with a concentration in MIS program from an accredited institution.
PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
Problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft .NET development experience
SQL programming experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
Strong organizational skills
Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
