Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize existing software products.
Participate in coding, testing, and debugging activities.
Contribute to small design projects within various domains, such as Application Development, Security, DevSecOps, Networks and Infrastructure, Software Testing, Cloud Engineering, Power Electronics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Data Science/Data Analytics.
Explore and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation within Rockwell Automation's software ecosystem.
Engage in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
Work on real-world projects that contribute to the growth and development of the company.
Qualification
Required
You must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this internship. This includes OPT/CPT/STEM Visas.
Preferred
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale is necessary to be considered for this position.
Working on a software development side-project that exemplifies a passion for continuous innovation and improvement.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Angular/Node, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript (Typescript), Kotlin, Go, or Python.
