Foot Locker is a retailer of athletic footwear and apparel, and they are seeking tech-savvy interns to join their Global Technology Solutions division. The role involves collaborating on various projects, converting applications, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with our development and production support team to convert a number of .Net applications to use New Relic.
Work on projects from estimation all the way through to deployment and warranty support.
Work in the .Net environment both on-prem and Azure.
Work in the store POS Java environment
Participate in other meetings and sessions with the rest of the development and larger Store Systems team.
Document technical processes and support the creation of user guides for new tools or systems.
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program or recently graduated
GPA 3.00 or better
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
A genuine interest in technology, innovation, and sneakers
Preferred
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., .Net, Java) specifically error trapping and logging
Databases (SQL (Microsoft and Oracle))
Cloud platforms (Azure)
