Tulane University, a prestigious member of the Association of American Universities, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Computer Science. The role involves developing security measures against memory corruption attacks and supervising research assistants while contributing to academic publications.

Responsibilities

  • Create effective security measures to defend against memory corruption attacks.
  • Develop novel hardware-assisted approaches to detect memory disclosure attacks.
  • Supervise and collaborate with graduate and undergraduate research assistants.
  • Collaborate with fellow scholars.
  • Disseminate work through publications and presentations.

Qualification

Required

  • Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated solid hands-on skills in Software and Systems Security.
  • Strong publications record in top-tier cybersecurity venues (e.g., IEEE S&P, USENX Security, CCS, NDSS, TIFS, and TDSC).

Preferred

  • Familiarity with security analysis of binary code.
  • Familiarity with memory corruption attacks and defenses.
