SAP provides enterprise application software to various industries, including consumer, discrete manufacturing, and public services. They are seeking an intern to build software products for the Life Science industry, focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
To build software products for the Life Science industry on SAP Business Technology Platform and infuse Artificial Intelligence technology where appropriate
Responsible for design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of software features, collaborating with the architects and engineers
An avid learner and willing to assume responsibility for accepted tasks and deliver results
Qualification
Required
Student with a bachelor’s in computer science or a related engineering discipline
Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
Technical competence in one or more programming languages/platforms: Java, NodeJS, Python, ABAP, HTML 5, JavaScript
Good understanding of REST APIs and their development
Solid knowledge in Large Language Model (LLM) consumptions for AI application development
Knowledge of source control systems (Git) and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins)
Experience in software development using cloud native technologies (IaaS providers SAP/AWS/Azure/GCP)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Preferred
A Master's in Computer Science is most preferred
