7-Eleven is a convenience retailer store and a sub-organization of Seven & I Holding. They are offering Summer Internships for candidates to gain experience in various functional areas, working closely with a coach and culminating in a project presentation.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain and enhance POS, Mobile and retail systems
Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement
Responsible for the full software development life cycle of projects including design, development, unit testing, system testing and deployment
Participates in performing systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation
Participates in the creation of design documents that ensure consistency in development across the IT organization
Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in order to evaluate existing environments, establish technology standards and identify opportunities to add value to the organization.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Familiar C ++, SQL Server and Oracle, Modern Web Development (Angular, jQuery, BootStrap), REST / JSON Web Services (WCF and Web API)
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
