The Software Testing Engineering Intern position focuses on improving the quality of software releases through automation processes and tools improvements, collaborating with developers and technical staff.
Responsibilities
Executing both automated and manual test cases and recording results
Reviewing design documents to check new features and design quality
Creating test plans and manual and automated test cases
Working closely with software developers and software quality engineers to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, preferably summer of junior year
Ability to read and understand code used in a typical automation frameworks
Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and writing and optimizing SQL queries
Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills
Strong verbal and written communication as well as established team working skills
