Getinge is a global company dedicated to making life-saving technology accessible for more people. They are seeking a Software Engineer Co-op who will write and execute unit tests, participate in design and code reviews, and work under general direction on new assignments.
Responsibilities
Unit Testing of advanced algorithms for next generation Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (70%)
Interpretation of System Requirements and Executing System Test plans (20%)
Update and provide status on Agile Jira pulse board, participate in team meetings (10%)
Qualification
Required
Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a Master's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Familiarity with C++ or other Object-Oriented programming language.
Experience in Engineering lab environment, and lab report writing.
Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details.
Strong interpersonal and team skills.
Advanced proficiency: MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
