They are offering an internship supporting the Federal Aviation Administration, where the intern will receive training and assist senior engineers in various software engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
Receive training and participate in the various phases and types of software engineering work in accordance with established orders, processes and standards.
Conduct routine project activities and technical surveys or inspections and prepare reports. Work activities typically support the work of other employees and activities of the organizational unit.
May receive assignments of moderate scope and complexity to work alongside other employees. Work will be guided, reviewed, and evaluated by employees with more experience.
Assist more senior engineers in project accomplishment and performing technical tasks including but not limited to software design, testing, and preparation of reports.

Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or similarly relevant engineering discipline.
This internship position is onsite at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center – applicant/candidate is expected to work daily in our facility. Candidate must provide their own living arrangements and transportation.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
