Viasat is a global communications company that offers satellite services, and they are seeking an intern to join their ISP Platforms team. The intern will develop a project related to Order/Offer management, integrate with an existing team, and follow industry-standard software development processes.
Responsibilities
Immerse yourself in complex cloud infrastructure
Become familiar with the various python and GO API's
Write software to build, automate, and improve various systems
Write automated tests to verify new features and functionality
Use Github Actions and Jenkins to achieve full CI/CD
Design, document, and implement new features
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
To be eligible for this position your final graduation date must fall between December 2025 and June 2026
Experience with Python or proficient experience with at least 2 object oriented languages
You must be available for the full duration of the 12-13 week internship program
Preferred
Ability to work autonomously and with a team
Basic knowledge of standard development processes
General understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, docker)
A drive to learn new concepts and technologies
