ABB provides electrification and automation solutions for various industries, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2025. This role offers hands-on experience in design and development for instrumentation products, where the intern will work closely with senior engineers and contribute to various projects.
Responsibilities
Design and Development of Embedded Linux based Product for Instrumentation
Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing Product solutions to resolve them.
Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
Learning development on C++, real time OS.
Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new approaches for ABB Products.
Learning Azure Devops and other agile management methodologies.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science engineering or related field in the United States.
Knowledge of C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
