Bio-Techne is a supplier of tools for life science research, therapeutic manufacturing, and clinical diagnostics. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to assist in expanding the capabilities of computer vision systems and automate the labeling and classification of imagery.
Responsibilities
Research and develop a means for an automatic labeling of images.
This may require manual labeling as well as research into unsupervised learning techniques.
Present on research efforts and outcomes.
Qualification
Required
Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship (Computer Science)
Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
Have exposure to Machine Learning & image processing concepts and techniques
Familiarity with one of Python/Java/C#
Familiarity with software development concepts
Strong written skills necessary to document software design and present on research
Ability to work independently and with a team.
