They are seeking a Technology Development Intern to gain hands-on experience in product design and development, assisting with various tasks essential to the success of initiatives within the Development team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with software developers, designers, analysts, and data scientists to support various stages of the development process.
Actively embrace the Scrum Framework: Participate as a member of the Dev team, owning sprint tasks, and contributing to daily stand-ups, as well as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support Coding Tasks: Assist fellow Dev team members with technical documentation, UX activities, and minor coding tasks.
Perform Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and improve product features.
Conduct Research: Gather and synthesize information on new technologies, tools, and best practices to support the team’s continuous improvement efforts.
Quality Assurance: Assist in testing software applications to identify bugs and ensure that products meet high standards of quality.
Contribute to Project Management: Help manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure that the team stays on target to meet goals.
Qualification
Required
High School/General Education Diploma required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to ensuring that work is accurate, on time, and high-quality.
Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
High degree of flexibility, adaptable and open to taking on a variety of tasks, from coding to analysis to project support and customer service.
Basic understanding of software development principles.
Preferred
Completion of a software development, data science, or technical training program preferred.
Experience with coding is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts is a plus.
